Amazona

A Greek woman who blames men for the state of destruction her world has come to. During the same event that gave birth to other meta-humans around the globe, she gains the power of incredible super-strength, invulnerability and flight, becoming by far one of the most powerful individuals on the planet. Taking the name Amazona (Greek for 'The Amazon'), she takes it upon herself to re-establish order in the world, but an order run primarily by women. She believes that men have ruled the Earth for too long, and that the world has suffered for it. She sets up a safe haven in her home country, from where she works to rescue and protect women from around the world, especially those with the power or skills to make her vision a reality. While not necessarily considered a villain, her methods are extreme and she is willing to kill to achieve her goals, which often brings her into conflict with the world's heroes.
